A Fusion of Styles

ORGANIX features musicians with skills in various styles of music enabling the group to create a unique blend of jazz, rock, funk and hip hop.

The band is comprised of Dan Veit on keys who brings a strong jazz influence to the band. Emcee Fuzz Jaxx infuses free flowing rhymes with his scripture like stories. Bassist Mike Hickman brings his undeniable talent for music laying down funky bass lines that provide the rhythmic backbone of the group. The legendary sound of saxophonist Benny Hill adds strong improvised solos and melodic structure to the band, while Colby Wahl leads the band from behind the drums playing a combination of jazz, rock, funk and hip hop beats.

ORGANIX is currently recording and independently producing their new full-length album. This album features an array of North Carolina’s greatest hip hop artists including Kaze, Mr. Mohalyn, DJ Slim Deluxe, and DJ Suspense. The album also features vocals by Ron Etheridge and Randy McQuay.

Touring Information

ORGANIX regularly tours throughout the South East, and with the release of their new album they are planning on touring extensively.

ORGANIX is currently booking performances for the holiday season and all of 2010.
